NEW FLEET ADDITIONS - OCTOBER 2020
Despite the challenges faced in 2020 Europe Logistics have continued to see growth in our business and are committed to investing in the best equipment and expanding our fleet in order to continue to provide our existing and new clients a continued high level of service.
Therefore we are pleased to introduce our latest additions - the stunning Mercedes Actros and Iveco Stralis. In addition to the new trucks we have also invested in a new Schmitz Mega XL Curtain sided trailer and Talson Box Trailer - which is suitable for air cargo shipments, as well as general cargo.

COVID-19 UPDATE
We would like to assure our customers that we have taken all measures recommended by the UK Government and are continually monitoring the situation to make further contingency plans if and when necessary. We will to continue operating as usual where possible to ensure service is maintained during these difficult times.
We have limited direct contact with our clients where possible and provided our drivers with the necessary information and equipment to carry out their job in as safe a manner as possible including sanitation items: gloves, masks, hand spray etc. Our drivers are de-briefed on a daily basis regarding any health issues and whilst we are pleased to report no issues at all, rest assured should any mention the symptoms listed by the Government or fall into any category of risk they will immediately be sent home to self-isolate.
We would also like to give you an update on the European Road freight services. Everyone at Europe Logistics is available and have the ability to work from home, this has been tested as part of our Business Continuity plan without issue. We are committed to helping and supporting all of our customers through this difficult period and we are all working together to ensure as little disruption as possible.
Although we are currently operating as usual please note that in an increasing number of regions there is reduced access which is obviously impacting on the services by increasing some transit times, so we ask that you please bear with us and understand this issue and accept that the normal transit times cannot be guaranteed currently.
Shippers and consignees across the UK and Europe are having to adapt to their own local circumstances and challenges which may result in a change or restriction of opening hours or even temporary closure.
So to minimise the risk of any issues at the Shipper or Consignee we kindly ask that these details are checked and open/close times are confirmed before any booking is made.
As a business we are preparing for the anticipated economic impact and kindly ask that our clients continue working together with us through this difficult period as we continue providing a high level of service by our professional and dedicated team of drivers and operational staff.

NEW TRUCK !! AUGUST 2020
In line with our policy to ensure we continue to invest and provide our drivers with the the best equipment available we have invested in the new Mercedes Actros.
The new Actros includes a myriad of new technologies, the most striking of all being a MirrorCam system which replaces the exterior rear-view mirrors, helping to improve manoeuvrability and visibility, while lowering fuel consumption.
Other features include an Active Drive Assist system, which is designed to help with acceleration, braking and even steering, all contributing to increased driving efficiency, while the truck’s Predictive Powertrain Control steps in on more demanding country roads to offer up to a five per cent increase in fuel economy.
